Musical instrument refurbishment
Much of my time in the workshop, in addition to building instruments, is spent restoring older or newer instruments that need maintenance or more complex restoration.
Some of them are old and destroyed which is why I need to open the resonance box; there they can find cracks or loose parts.
In other cases the neck handle needs to be changed and the heel rebuilt, nail holes filled with waxes, full restoration or small color touch ups where needed.
All this repair process requires a lot of attention and patience, the instruments are more sensitive - so it takes a lot of time.
