1. Who runs this website

2. What this website is
The website presents the instruments built in the workshop in Reghin — master violins, violas and cellos — and the restoration work. It is not an online shop: there is no shopping cart, nothing is paid for through the site, and no order is concluded here.
3. Prices and availability
Prices are not listed. We quote a price on request, for each instrument separately, because it depends on the wood, the model and the work involved.
Descriptions, photographs and availability are presentational and do not constitute a binding offer — an instrument shown here may in the meantime have been sold or reserved.
4. How a purchase works
Instruments are sold at the workshop. We talk first by e-mail, phone or video, and the instrument is then tried out and bought in person, in Reghin.
Because the sale takes place on business premises, the 14-day right of withdrawal that applies to distance purchases does not apply here. You do, however, have as much time as you need to try the instrument before deciding.
5. Every instrument is unique
Each instrument is made by hand from a particular piece of wood. The grain, the colour of the varnish and the figure of the back differ from one instrument to another, and may look slightly different from the photographs depending on the light and on your screen.
The photographs on this site are of the actual instruments, not catalogue images.
6. Certificate of authenticity
Every instrument leaves the workshop with a certificate of authenticity containing the description, the measurements and colour photographs. The certificate states who built the instrument and when.
7. Guarantee
Instruments carry the legal guarantee of conformity provided for consumers by law.
The guarantee does not cover normal wear, consumables (strings, bow, rosin), damage caused by humidity, temperature or impact, or work carried out on the instrument by anyone else.
A wooden instrument needs care: keep it away from radiators and direct sunlight, at a humidity between 40% and 60%.
8. Rights over the content
The texts, photographs, films and graphics on this site belong to the workshop. They may be read and used for personal information, but they may not be copied, republished or used commercially without our written consent.
The names of the historical instruments referred to — Stradivari, Guarneri, Montagnana, Gofriller — describe the model an instrument is built after, not its provenance.
9. Links to other websites
This site links to other services, for example films on YouTube or the location map. We are not responsible for the content or the policies of those sites.
10. Limitation of liability
We do our best to keep the information on this site correct and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that it is complete at every moment. We are not liable for damage resulting from the use of this site or from being unable to reach it.

12. Complaints
If something is not right, write to us first — most things are settled directly.
If we cannot reach an agreement, you may contact the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection at anpc.ro, or the alternative dispute resolution platform at reclamatiisal.anpc.ro.
13. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Romanian law. Any disputes are settled by the competent courts in Romania.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here, with the date of the update shown at the top.
